As Senior Vice President, Global Head Commercial Operations at Piramal Pharma Solutions, Abigail (Abbie) Mota is responsible for overseeing key commercial aspects of the business and driving strategic initiatives across multiple commercial functions to ensure the continued growth and success of the organization.

Abbie is a seasoned senior executive with nearly two decades of experience in global commercial strategy, operations, and business development across life sciences, healthcare, and biopharma services. She has a proven track record of leading large-scale transformations in small and large molecule, optimizing go-to-market models, and overseeing high-value B2B partnerships and contracts. Recognized for her ability to bring clarity to complexity, she has guided cross-functional teams through periods of significant growth and industry change, delivering measurable results and strengthening organizational resilience.

Prior to joining Piramal, Abbie held senior leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Pfizer (formerly Hospira), and Baxter Biopharma Solutions. She earned an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Indiana University, and holds certifications as a PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
