Jeff McGroarty is currently the Chief Financial Officer of TheracosBio, a commercial stage, privately held pharmaceutical company based in Massachusetts. In July 2023, TheracosBio launched Brenzavvy®, an SGLT2 inhibitor for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Prior to joining TheracosBio, Jeff was Chief Financial Officer of Annovis Bio, Inc., a NYSE listed clinical stage biotech company addressing Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. Jeff led the company’s initial public offering which was completed in January 2020. Previously, Jeff served in various financial roles at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., most recently as Senior Vice President & CFO and was interim controller at Cephalon, Inc. and Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Exide Technologies. Jeff began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, working in offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and London. A Certified Public Accountant, Jeff earned his B.S. in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
