Melissa Frohloff is the Lead of the Internal Medicines Business within Pfizer External Supply. Melissa’s team is responsible for the global operational oversight of contracted manufacturing and packaging of finished drug products for the Pfizer Internal Medicines Portfolio. This includes established brands and the commercialization of new business development ventures and integrations.
Melissa has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry which includes roles in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operations. Prior to her career in pharmaceuticals, Melissa held sales and management roles in the nutritionals and physical fitness industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada and a certificate in Pharmaceutical Technology from John Abbott College in Quebec. Melissa is yellow and green belt certified and trained in project management, agile concepts, innovation coaching and human performance.
In addition to her role in Pfizer, Melissa is a DEI advocate, mentor and a Program Director for the PGS Women’s Mentoring Program. She has regularly been involved in organizing committees for charitable events supporting the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Canadian Paralympic Committee.
