Rajesh Agarwal (Raj) has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, developing new drugs for unmet medical needs.
Raj has been leading Acadia’s Pharmaceutical Development department since 2007, where he is responsible for developing overall CMC strategies and commercial products for Acadia’s pipeline from pre-clinical development through registration, commercialization, and life cycle management. Before
joining Acadia, Raj served in leadership and scientific roles at Arena Pharmaceuticals and Emisphere Technologies. Raj has led the CMC development of several drugs (small molecules and peptides) from the pre-IND stage through commercialization.
Raj received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Banaras Hindu University and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center
